The Dimitris which we finally chose and bought

You are here: Home > The yachts

This is the yacht that we finally decided for, after opting out of the Corsaro II.

Its a great looking yacht, with all equipment working, all technical stuff in order, teak deck in an ok (not perfect) condition.

The dimensions:

Length over all: 20.3m
Draught: 2.85m
Beam: 5.00m
Mast: Approx. 20m

It currently contains 5 cabins with room for 2-3 people in each. Each cabin have own toilet and shower.

We are however planning a rebuild of the front cabins where 2 cabins will be collapsed into 1 big master bedroom with a queensized bed and an additional fip down spare kids bunk. The front captains cabin will be changed to be used as garderobe/storage with access from the inside. Of the 3 toilets, 2 of them will be removed (changed to storage space/garderobe) and one is to be expanded to approx. double size for better room for shower and toilet.

The yacht contains amongst other things:

- Approx. 130hp BMC 6 cylinder marine diesel engine with 12V generator, straight shaft and fixed 3 blade propeller
- 6.5kw 220V/12V generator
- Approx. 600A of 12V/24V batteries
- 1.5 kw inverter for 220V from 12/24V
- Autopilot
- 16m radar
- 2 stationary VHF radios (one with DSS) and 2 portable VHF radios
- A good sized dingy (3.5m long) with a 15hp outboard
- 3 Davits (cranes) for both dingy (electric) and outboard engine
- Magellan color GPS plotter/map
- Navtex weather fax
- Forward looking sonar in addition to the normal depth sonar.
- Electric anchor winch
- 2 automatically inflateble liferafts with room for 6 persons each
- 2 aircons, both in operating order
- 1 EPIRB bouy
- All in safety fireworks (flares, rockets etc.)
- Small TV
- Stereo radio with tape and 6 CD changer with speakers in both cabins and outside.
- 220V cooker and oven
